Tiene un papel en la inmunidad, por ser importante para varios componentes del sistema inmune humano. Estimula producci\u00f3n y funci\u00f3n de gl\u00f3bulos blancos<\/li><li>La deficiencia de vitamina C resulta en inmunidad deteriorada y mayor susceptibilidad a las infecciones.
